The following services are provided at the Medical Foundation Scotland:
- Holistic assessment ensuring survivors can access and receive the services they need, with internal or external referral when required
- Family therapy
- Medico-legal report writing service
- Group work including the following:
- Massage and relaxation for French and English speaking women
- All Write writing group for men and women with good enough English
- Retrieving Ourselves for French and English speaking men who would like to reflect upon and work though their traumatic experiences in order to improve the quality of their daily lives
- Retrieving Ourselves for Turkish and English speaking women (as above)
- Bodywork gender based group for those who would like to understand the connection between emotional states and physical sensations, and learn techniques for dealing with stress
- Finding our Ground gender based group. Exile sweeps the ground from people's feet. This group aims to work with people as they build on their own strength and find their feet again, providing a place to seek advice about practical issues and gain support from others.
- Shared History women's group in French and English. In collaboration with Glasgow Museums, a ten week group looking at the world via our history through visits to the Burrell Collection, a sharing of connections and differences, and producing shared and individual clay pieces for an exhibit to be displayed at locations of the clients' choice in the city.
The Medical Foundation Scotland covers the whole of Scotland.
