MF North East

The following services are provided at the Medical Foundation North East:

• Counselling services
• Medico-legal report writing service
• Supervision, support and training of North East colleagues working with survivors of torture
• Working in partnership with Newcastle and North Tyneside NHS Primary Care Trust, the North East centre is developing a model of good practice for working with survivors of torture in primary care 

The Medical Foundation North East covers the following areas: Cleveland, County Durham, Cumbria (Carlisle), Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, including: Darlington, Durham, Gateshead, Hartlepool, Middleborough, Newcastle Upon Tyne, North Shields, Redcar, South Shields, Stockton on Tees, Sunderland and Wallsend.
