Savings that change lives
Medical Foundation Saver Account - How does it work?
Open a Medical Foundation and Triodos Bank Saver Account and your savings will support our crucial work with survivors of torture and organised violence.
Triodos Bank will donate the equivalent of 0.25% of the average balance of funds held in your account each year to the Medical Foundation.
In addition you can choose to donate all or part of your interest directly to the Medical Foundation, making a real difference to the lives of people we assist.
About Triodos Bank
Triodos is a bank that only uses money to benefit people and the environment by exclusively lending the money its savers deposit to some of the UK's most effective ethical businesses and charities. Unlike any other commercial bank in the UK, it tells customers exactly how it uses their money in newsletters and an annual comprehensive project list. It's really that simple.
"We are delighted to be associated with Triodos Bank, a pioneer of ethical banking. This partnership can help us to make a real difference to the men, women and children who seek our help." Simon Carruth, CEO, Medical Foundation

Celebrate your special occasion with the Medical Foundation
We all love to receive presents, but sometimes we don't need more things filling up our cupboards. Why not ask friends and family to make a celebratory donation in your name to the Medical Foundation? Celebratory Giving is becoming one of the most popular ways for people to fundraise.
Our clients often leave their homes with little more than their own lives as they search for safety. They arrive in this country with virtually nothing remaining from their homeland; no family mementoes, no childhood photographs, and they are often here alone. Special occasions such as birthdays or anniversaries can be a difficult time for them. That is why it is so wonderful when our supporters choose their own special days as a time to remember our clients and our work.
Contact Kate on sponsored@torturecare.org.uk for a Special Days pack or more information, or call her on 020 7697 7749.
Give your time
One of the most precious gifts that you can donate is your time and talents. We are always seeking new volunteers, especially if you have specific and useful skills.
