Dr Duncan Forrest
Dr Duncan Forrest, a former President of the British Association of Paediatric Surgeons, was from his retirement in 1987 until his death in 2004 a volunteer senior examining doctor at the Medical Foundation. As well as conducting medical examinations, Dr Forrest edited and partly wrote the MF's guidelines on examining torture survivors which are used by doctors world wide, as well as A Glimpse of Hell: Reports of Torture Worldwide and Lives Under Threat: a study of Sikhs coming to the UK from the Punjab.
