Welcome to Bijou Films. We are a new project based
in the UK making cross-cultural documentary film productions.
Our films will be of use in both formal and informal
educational contexts, and will also appeal to a general
audience of inquiring minds.
Through collaborating with individuals and small groups
in the making of our films, we aim to explore the experience
of people living on the many different margins of society
and to bring their perspectives to a wider audience
in order to dispel myths, counter stereotypes, and give
an insight into the complexity of cultural identities.
Our founding project, My Life As A Refugee,
is now available on VHS.
You will also find free downloadable educational resources
on this site which can be used in conjunction with
My Life As A Refugee.
