Events wise, we have had a quiet summer this year as we did not have a stall in the summer fetes or the Brunswick Festival. Apart from the chilling wind, it was time for Malcolm Martindale to take a well-deserved rest.

In June, the Write to Life Project evening at the Friends Meeting House was a great success and we managed to fill the hall and to raise over £250.We would particularly like to thank the performers of ‘Sow the Wind, Reap the Whirlwind,' who gave their time freely to put on the event. We would also like to thank Anita and Tom Walker for collecting for the Medical Foundation at their Art Exhibition in Cooksbridge, this September and to anyone else who may have donated and forwarded funds.

The Medical Foundation Street Collection is still taking place outside the Friends' Meeting House, Ship Street, Brighton - at the side entrance- and also sales and collections at the monthly Saturday Fair Trade Market. As usual, anyone wishing to help with any of these events, please contact us - we always need extra hands as we are such a small group.
