5k run for the Medical Foundation

If you have ever wanted to get involved in a 5k run here is your chance. The Medical Foundation has signed up to the Doitforcharity.com run series, a collection of 5km runs which will be taking place in London, Birmingham and Manchester in the spring/summer of 2008.

Over 3000 people are expected to take part raising hundreds of thousands of pounds. We are looking for volunteers to take part and you can be part of this fantastic event with just a small registration fee and by raising the suggested minimum sponsorship.

No previous experience is required and with a bit of training the 5km distance should easily be within your capabilities. The spirit of the event is 'taking part' not 'winning' so you can run, jog or walk - you decide! All you need to do is pledge to raise £100 for our work.
