The Pomegranate Tree is the Medical Foundation’s flagship event for foodies! Celebrity chefs will be tempting you with food from around the world in a special London venue to be confirmed. There will be a second event organised by the Medical Foundation in another UK City too. Can you do your own mini Pomegranate Tree event with our help?
We want to have lots of mini Pomegranate Tree events, turning the whole country into a foodie forest of Pomegranate Trees! Any creative ideas you have around food and fundraising would fit under the Pomegranate Tree group.
Ideas for your own foodie fundraiser!
- Host a ‘supper club’ style dinner party at your house for friends where guests each contribute say £20 each – everyone loves homecooked dinners!
- Arrange a do at your favourite restaurant and ask them to give a cut of the takings to the Medical Foundation
- Rope in a chef to do a master class at your local deli, charge for tickets
- Have a cocktail making competition with a group of friends using pomegranate juice as the essential ingredient. Suggest a donation of £10 each to enter. The winner wins a special prize provided by yourselves or the Medical Foundation
- Bump up the funds raised with extra competitions and raffles
- For the kids - all the kids donate £2 of their pocket money to guess how many pomegranate jems in a pomegranate to be cut open in front of them... winning child to win a prize sourced by you, or ask the Medical Foundation if you can’t get your hands on a treat!
