The Medical Foundation's 2007-8 Annual Review, 'Torture: Truths & Consequences', reads between the lines of euphemisms such as "waterboarding" and "enhanced interrogation techniques" to expose practices that are unequivocally banned as torture. Chief Executive Officer Simon Carruth calls for plain speaking in the fight against a practice that is a scar on the world's conscience.

The MF's 2006-07 annual review is called Torture:Dispelling the Myths. MF Chief Executive Officer Simon Carruth, says that increasingly torture is "losing its stigma", both as a real-life response to terror attacks, and as entertainment on TV and the big screen. In the process, its true cost is being ignored.

The Medical Foundation's Annual Review for 2005/2006 is called Extending Our Reach. It looks at the work of the MF both in London and at our centres elsewhere in the country.
